ADISCIPLING ? Nous n'irons pas sur ce terrain marécageux - alors VEHICULA ? Oui nous y allons d'avantage, et aussi quelques autres certitudes affairantes.

Avec cette nouvelle réalisation du label Brainstormlab, Sytrjv donne volontiers forme et force à une multiplicité de soundscapes. La matière n'est confondante qu'en apparence, car elle est de celles qui fait notre actuelle intimité connectique, ces basses tensions amies (et domestiquées), ce grain particulier des liens latex de nos lecteurs mp3, ce crissement velouté d'oreillettes épousant nos conduits auriculaires, et même ces amplifications asservies de membranes feutrées et rythmiques. 

Sytrjv navigue en territoire connu (herd hub) mais n'oublie pas, à contrario de l'ascètique et excellent artwork de Bhatoptics, une sorte de "colloratura instrumentale" autant dangereuse (chronichrome) que chatoyante ...

ADISCIPLING? We will not venture into that marshy terrain - so, VEHICULA? Yes, much more readily, along with a few other industrious certainties.

With this new release from the Brainstormlab label, Sytrjv willingly gives shape and substance to a multiplicity of soundscapes. The material is bewildering only in appearance, for it belongs to the fabric of our contemporary connected intimacy: those friendly (and domesticated) low voltages, the distinctive grain of the latex cords tethering our MP3 players, the velvety rasp of earbuds moulded to our ear canals, even the obedient amplification of muted, rhythmic membranes.

Sytrjv navigates familiar territory (herd hub), yet unlike the ascetic and remarkable artwork by Bhatoptics, it never forgets a kind of instrumental coloratura—as dangerous (chronichrome) as it is iridescent…
