The English-speaking vision is interesting: to have a vested interest (ooops sorry, I’m forgetting the fact of actually being “judge and party”, since the “I” conjugates itself according to the person present at the indication.
SO MOTE IT BE is a matter of (beautiful) intersection, collision, crash, a synchronicity - judge for yourselves: On one side of the Atlantic, Vava Vol, taken with a Moog Mavis (we understand her) and, more seriously, with a rather remarkably precise vision of furious presences because… analog.
On the other side of that same ocean, this quest for new realities, confused and inspiring - encounter. “Ahh-Sleep” has nothing that one should wait for nights (or naps) to finally admit the happiness of insomnia.
SO MOTE IT BE is an album belonging only to wakefulness, a crashing, clear and raw reality, sometimes much (much) too much!
The risk is elsewhere, digressive and much (much) too conventional. Vava Vol screams the unfiltered, fractal and mutant, a pure sound that cares nothing for any alliteration.
So mote it be.

SO MOTE IT BE est une affaire de (belle) intersection, de collision, de crash, une synchronicité. Jugez plutôt : d'un côté de l'Atlantique, Vava Vol éprise d'un Moog Mavis (on la comprend) et plus sérieusement, d'une vision assez remarquablement précise des présences furieuses car ... analogiques.
De cet autre côté d'un même océan, cette quête de nouvelles réalités, confondues et inspirantes, rencontre « Ahh-Sleep ». Il n'y a rien qu'il faille attendre des nuits (ou des siestes) pour admettre enfin le bonheur des insomnies. SO MOTE IT BE est un album qui n'appartient qu'à l'éveil en sursaut, au réel fracassant, limpide et cru, parfois même beaucoup (beaucoup) trop !
Le risque est ailleurs, digressif et beaucoup (beaucoup) trop convenu. Vava Vol hurle le sans-filtre, fractal et mutant, un pur sound qui ne se soucie d'aucune allitération.
Qu’il en soit ainsi.
