Sommes-nous sujets à un excès d'égocentrisme ? ces déambulations de Dallas Simpson sont souvent si proches et confondantes, qu'elles en deviennent rapidement des excroissances de notre propre histoire sonore - Non dénué d'un humour espiègle, le recording fields artist n'en oublie pas moins d'y adjoindre quelques automatismes rythmiques dont l'évidente ironie s'adresse à ce micro tendu dans le plus vaste studio qui soit.

Are we prone to an excess of egocentrism? Dallas Simpson's wanderings are often so intimate and disorienting that they quickly become extensions of our own personal soundscapes. Not without a touch of mischievous humor, the field recording artist doesn't forget to weave in some rhythmic automatisms, whose evident irony seems to address the microphone extended into the most expansive studio of all.
In the spirit of this delightful auditory camaraderie, let us thank Juan José Calarco, Pedro Leitão, and David Vélez for their judicious and refreshing... impulsiveness.
