A CERTAIN RATIO // Hope - Loco Live at Hope Mill Studios

 

Bastion mancunien historique, ACR, après de nombreux aléas, a décidé un jour, de reprendre la route sinueuse, parsemée des embûches réservées à ceux qui firent que le passé ne soit plus, seulement, qu'un souvenir. Fidèles à un adn funk, difficilement revendicable initialement sous les sombres nuages, ACR n'en a, pour autant, pas fini de réjouir et d'enrichir un possible crossover de genres, qui depuis, a permis de produire une très longue histoire qui s'écrit encore.

Enregistré lors des sessions studio préparatoires de l'album Loco, ce Live at Hop Mill Studios nous permet d'apprécier, à instant T, la parfaite cohésion d'un groupe. Ce n'est pas son seul mérite, car il y est aussi question d'un "espoir". Un espoir que nous pouvons formuler, d'entreprendre la relecture intensive des épisodes précédents, à l'instar de la synthétique ACR::Box et l'affriolant "the planet", que nous avions (peut-être) abandonnés, trop rapidement, au bord de la sinueuse route - Shake up !

Historic Mancunian bastion, ACR, after many hazards, decided one day to take the winding road, strewn with pitfalls reserved for those who made the past no longer, only, a memory. Faithful to a funk DNA, initially difficult to claim under the dark clouds, ACR has not finished delighting and enriching a possible crossover of genres, which since then has made it possible to produce a very long story that write again. 

Recorded during the preparatory studio sessions of the Loco album, this Live at Hop Mill Studios allows us to appreciate, at instant T, the perfect cohesion of the band. This is not its only merit, it is also a question of "hope". A hope that we can formulate, to undertake the intensive rereading of the previous episodes, like the synthetic ACR::Box and the alluring "the planet, that we had (perhaps) abandoned, too quickly, at the edge of the winding road - Shake up!
