Exigence, en effet, est le maître-mot. Un agrégat sonore puissant et réfléchi, SEISMOS témoigne instantanément d'une collision sonore respectueuse d'une trajectoire de inéluctable - La zone accidentogène du timbre, du rythme, et si "La musique est le mouvement" précise Stone Leaf, soyez certain que nous n'en doutons aucunement.
Soundscape expansif en électrocution intense, densité extrême, qualifient "Background noise" et sa trame sous-textuelle (lucid dreaming ...) excellente récurrence subliminale pour l'ensemble de l'album.
Ici, devenue littéralement tangible, la matière sonore s'embrase au moindre crépitement, syncopée (Wave) pour être livrée à l'ultime et absolue défragmentation. Le possible dance-floor ne sera pas épargné.
Espace saturé (Ground Roll), parcouru mécaniquement de dangereuses zébrures, la latence des infra-basses révèle quelques contours monomaniaques - oppression.
Surprise ! Les "anti worlds" de Wave s'intentionnent sans mystère apparent, mais avec incandescence.
Courte accalmie, car l'abstraction rythmique de "Factor" promet l'étincelle, mais aussi la poussière.
Venant, définitivement clôturer une réalisation percussive au centuple, la Vague finale pourrait judicieusement être assimilable à une onde de choc.
Ce séisme en appelle de nombreux autres.

Nurtured from an early age by the meticulous study of MM. Reich & Stockhausen and teaching music technology in Lugano, Pietro Luca Congedo (aka Stone Leaf) delivers SEISMOS, his very first collaboration with the demanding label Detroit Underground.
Demanding is indeed the word - A powerful and thoughtful sonic aggregate, SEISMOS immediately demonstrates a respectful collision of sounds along an inevitable trajectory. The hazardous zone of timbre and rhythm is vividly explored, and if “Music is movement” as Stone Leaf states, rest assured, we’re entirely convinced.
An intense electric expansive soundscape with extreme density defines “Background Noise” and its underlying subtext (lucid dreaming…), an excellent subliminal recurrence throughout the album. Here, sound matter becomes almost tangible, igniting at the slightest signal—syncopated (Wave) only to be delivered into ultimate and absolute defragmentation. Even the potential dance floor will not be spared.
A saturated space (Ground Roll), mechanically streaked with dangerous fissures, reveals the monomaniacal contours of infrabass latency—oppression, pure and simple.
Surprise! The “anti-worlds” of Wave unfold with no apparent mystery but with blazing intensity.
A brief respite follows, as the rhythmic abstraction of “Factor” promises both sparks and dust. Finally, closing this explosively percussive creation, the final Wave could aptly be described as a shockwave.
This seism calls for many more to come.
