Soma et évanescence, après l'intense DOES IT STILL MATTER, du printemps dernier, Noémi Büchi revient avec LIQUID BONES, un EP qui s'écarte ostensiblement d'un droit chemin formel.
Inspiré principalement par un vers de sa poétesse de maman, Marie-Christine, LIQUID BONES joue l'exploration fluctuante et polymorphe, un projet mutant, une réflexion sur l'impermanence, la matière et toutes ses innombrables protubérances.
Matière, le maître mot (est lancé) de l'approche sonore de Büchi.
Le solide et/ou le substantifique, ce lieu singulier où se rencontrent, se jouxtent, interfèrent les quintessences, les limites, les surfaces, nos sédiments.
LIQUID BONES, quatre lignes puissantes, décortiquées tour à tour, à la faveur d'une capillarité mouvante (In the Heat) et parfumées des réminiscences de pianos stylistiques.
Pour autant, par l'effet salutaire d'une suspension fluide, "Gestically Elastically" s'anime en rebonds et contours, pulsations bold, souffle respiratoire et transition commune, "Their Bodies" en loops, chausse-trappe, pour une chair anguleuse et enfin conquérante.
Tentation, "Disappointing the Desire to Last" poursuit la restauration, une épreuve de restructuration acoustique presque ludique dans ses incursions pop.
Diary final et fil conducteur, en compagnie de Joséphine de Weck, d'une histoire qui s'égrène, "Fair Enough" conjugue à partition égale, l'intimité d'un parfum d'humanité à fleur de peau.
Avec LIQUID BONES, Noémi Büchi continue d’approfondir un langage musical pénétrant l'organique et l’éphémère, un projet sensoriel qui questionne en constance, nos communes perceptions et probablement certaines aspirations.

LIQUID BONES, four powerful lines, dissected in turn, favoring a moving capillarity (In the Heat) and perfumed with reminiscences of stylistic pianos.
However, through the salutary effect of a fluid suspension, "Gesticulate Elastically" comes alive with bounces and contours, bold pulsations, respiratory breath, and common transition, "Their Bodies" in loops, pitfalls, for an angular and finally conquering flesh.
Temptation, "Disappointing the Desire to Last" continues the restoration, an almost playful acoustic restructuring test in its pop incursions.
Final diary and common thread, accompanied by Joséphine de Weck, of a story that unfolds, "Fair Enough" combines in equal parts the intimacy of a fragrance of raw humanity.
