A sordid news story... The tale of a father who cut off his son's finger with an axe—a "punishment" for stealing a bit of money from dad's wallet. A sign of these times of barbaric regression on all fronts, it was enough to inspire an eponymous text by Moldovan writer Nicoleta Esinencu, who combines narrative and reality while challenging, in passing, a capitalism in advanced decay. THAT MOMENT is now this sinuous outpouring adapted by MM. GW Sok (former singer of the cult alternative punk band The EX), Pavel Tchikov (solitary multi-instrumentalist and active member of Ogives), not to mention the touch and dramaturgy of Jean Vangeebergen.

Concept album with stark contrasts, which in addition to the embodied vocal presence of Sok, the neo-classical signature of a quartet and the harsh hammering, THAT MOMENT has quickly won over the scene and is set to become very quickly an essential object of pure fascination.

Un fait divers sordide ... L'histoire de ce père de famille, qui a tranché le doigt de son fils, à l'aide d'une hache - Une "punition" pour avoir volé un peu d'argent dans le portefeuille de papa - Signe de ce temps de régression barbare tous azimuts, il n'en fallait pas plus pour inspirer un texte éponyme à l'écrivaine moldave Nicoleta Ensinencu, qui y combine récit et réalité en interpellant, au passage, un capitalisme en déliquescence avancée - THAT MOMENT est désormais ce débordement sinueux adapté par MM. GW Sok (ex-chanteur du cultissime groupe punk alternatif The EX), Pavel Tchikov (multi-instrumentiste solitaire et membre actif de Ogives) sans oublier le trait et la dramaturgie de Jean Vangeebergen.
Concept album aux contrastes marqués, qui outre la présence vocale incarnée de Sok, la signature néo-classique d'un quatuor et le martellement harsh, THAT MOMENT a rapidement conquis la scène et se propose de devenir très rapidement un indispensable objet de pure fascination.
