Nouvelle trajectoire.
The sonic wanderings of Syn-Anton, craftsman of a shifting shadow at the crossroads of multimedia art and a longtime conspirator of ambient, noise, post-rock, industrial (with and without PAL), electronica, and a few other noise-driven rough edges, not to mention the remnants.
A new trajectory. With ERRANCES (entre ciel et terre), the musician delivers an equal and wondrously complementary diptych, an unidentified object hovering between two universes (the best place to be).

On one side, there is Terre (Earth). An organic track anchored to the performance Slow by the duo Hoài-Thu & Juan Del’O (contemporary dance), it documents the world of the living. Everything within it is breathed into being, from germination to the first heartbeat, from the quiver of the flesh to primordial dreams, from the emotion of an encounter to the tear of separation and the mourning of loved ones. A dance despite it all, an obstinate reprieve against the time that fractures things.
On the other, the void. The celestial counterpart, Ciel (Sky) ("Heaven Can Wait"), conceived at the invitation of Phil Von for the live performance Presence alongside the company Reunited Nowhere (led by Sakurako San and her implacable Butoh dance), is missing from this release. Where this second impulse was meant to plunge us into the realm of shadows - exploring absence, dejection, the memorial invocation of the departed, and that senseless attempt to brush against them, akin to a caress - the record withdraws.
No tipping point toward the specters. The work seems to wash ashore on a single, unilateral bank, amputated of its nocturnal verticality. In the absence of this second movement, ERRANCES (entre terre et ciel) logs an unfinished crossing, suspended close to the ground, where the sky stubbornly refuses itself -the waiting...
