Et pourquoi donc ? Pourquoi ces pensées qui nous ramènent à quelques amis – Kaer'Uiks, Point Source Electronica Arts, évidemment Sorin Paun (Hexalyne) et d'autres encore – qui, sans aucun doute, sauront apprécier avec justesse la première collaboration de Celine Arnauld avec le label Mahorka - savourer SUPERSTRUCTURE.
Il faut bien l'admettre, la solitude devenait pesante. Inventer un futur dans le vide actuel d’un genre trop égo-centré – un minimalisme glitch en errance, épuisé par un excès d’hygiénisme sonore – n’est pas une mince affaire. Celine Arnauld (Pablo Miranda Caballero) doit être observé avec minutie, car rien ici ne s’impose d’évidence. Mais pourquoi, fichtre, cette pensée aussi soudaine pour la basse atomique d’un Jah Wobble au sommet de son art avec l'Image Publique Limitée se frottant à "Complex Installations Entry Scene" ?
Le lyrisme, messieurs-dames, ce satané lyrisme d’un autre âge, trop longtemps enfoui sous les artefacts et les circuits électroniques ! SUPERSTRUCTURE est une intention libérée (Super Code Spectrum), une énième rédemption d’un after-punk de synthèse, mutant par essence.
Alors oui, il arrive encore que l’on trébuche – sur l’intro de "Central Logic Structure"par exemple, mais un bouillonnement organique se fait sentir, souterrain, l’énergie qui s’en dégage fait pardonner bien des écarts (de jeunesse ?).
"Convex Analytics Test Transmissions" donne envie d’abandonner son track-title trop clinique pour approcher la lumière, laisser place au lâcher-prise et oublier l’aseptisation de surface.
Il faut laisser "Fragments Of Automatics Variable" infuser. Ici, rien n’est figé (ô joie suprême !), SUPERSTRUCTURE ose, timidement parfois, mais ose. Il cherche, il tâtonne, il expérimente.
Et puis, caché quelque part autour de la troisième minute, il y a un premier signe de métamorphose qui apparaît avec "Quantization Pattern Index". Espiègles que nous sommes, nous n’en dirons pas plus…
Classique, "Transformation of Data Structure Spectrum" confirme l'appel d'un dancefloor, notre sourire pourrait se crisper.
"Hyper Rhythmics Scene" en bon dernier d'une course qui n'a pas lieue, clôture un album qui a vraisemblablement ouvert une boîte de Pandore, reste à savoir où chacun d'entre-nous, l'avait rangée.

Why these thoughts that bring us back to a few friends – Kaer'Uiks, Point Source Electronica Arts, of course Sorin Paun (Hexalyne), and a few others – who will undoubtedly appreciate, with just the right perspective, Celine Arnauld’s first collaboration with the Mahorka label and fully savor SUPERSTRUCTURE.
Let’s be honest, solitude was becoming heavy. Imagining a future within the current void of a genre too self-absorbed – a minimalism glitch adrift, exhausted by an excess of sonic hygiene – is no easy task. Celine Arnauld (Pablo Miranda Caballero) must be observed closely, for nothing here is self-evident. But why, for heaven’s sake, does this sudden thought arise of Jah Wobble’s atomic bass, at the peak of his craft with Image Publique Limitée, brushing up against "Complex Installations Entry Scene"?
Lyrism, ladies and gentlemen, that damn archaic lyrism, buried for too long beneath artifacts and electronic circuits! SUPERSTRUCTURE is a liberated intent (Super Code Spectrum), yet another redemption of a synthetic after-punk, mutant by nature.
And yes, stumbling is still possible – on the intro of "Central Logic Structure", for instance – but there is an organic bubbling underneath, a subterranean energy that makes us forgive many missteps (of youth?). "Convex Analytics Test Transmissions" stirs the urge to abandon its overly clinical track title, to step into the light, to embrace release, and forget the illusion of sterilization.
One must let "Fragments Of Automatics Variable" steep. Here, nothing is set in stone (oh, supreme joy!), SUPERSTRUCTURE dares – sometimes timidly, but it dares. It searches, it gropes, it experiments.
And then, hidden somewhere around the third minute, the first sign of metamorphosis emerges with "Quantization Pattern Index". But mischievous as we are, we won’t say more…
Classic, "Transformation of Data Structure Spectrum" confirms the call of the dancefloor—our smile might just tighten.
"Hyper Rhythmics Scene", the last in a race that never took place, closes an album that has, without a doubt, opened Pandora’s box. The only question that remains: where had each of us placed it ?
