IMAGINARIUM ( Foolish Records )
Le contraste avec une actualité trépidante pour le musicien bordelais. En ce début de printemps, Arnaud Chatelard (Innocent But Guilty) est un garçon fort occupé - Absorbé par les sorties quasi simultanées sur son label Foolish Records, de cet IMAGINARIUM avec Astral Recess (dont nous ne savons que fort peu de ... rien en fait, absolument rien) et le remarquable ouvrage de Egogas, 2RD EYE PENINSULA, vivement recommandé, quand vous aurez enfin décidé de prioriser les belles choses de l'existence.
Un contraste méditatif, troublé par cette iconographie, signée Satyr, héritière d'un langage visuel unique qui continue apparement d’inspirer tant d'artistes et autant de spectateurs.
Le fort justement intitulé IMAGINARIUM est effectivement une source d'images sonores (mais pas que) particulièrement incidentes. Une porte entre-ouverte, un charme joliment exotique au parfum néo-seventies.
IMAGINARIUM est un album salutaire - feel good - Nous en avons besoin.

The contrast with a fast-paced news cycle is striking for the Bordeaux-based musician. As spring begins, Arnaud Chatelard (Innocent But Guilty) is a very busy man—absorbed by the near-simultaneous releases on his label Foolish Records. These include this IMAGINARIUM with Astral Recess (about whom we know very little... actually, absolutely nothing) and the remarkable work by Egogas, 2RD EYE PENINSULA, which comes highly recommended for when you finally decide to prioritize the finer things in life.
It is a meditative contrast, unsettled by the iconography of Satyr, heir to a unique visual language that apparently continues to inspire so many artists and spectators alike.
The aptly titled IMAGINARIUM is indeed a source of particularly striking sonic images (and more). It is a door left ajar, offering a beautifully exotic charm with a neo-seventies scent.
IMAGINARIUM is a salutary, "feel-good" album—exactly what we need.
