Moins de deux petites années après le séminal et remarquable "confused(e)scape" marquant une certaine appétence pour les délicates nourritures jazz ou ogresques (le cinéma d'auteur) voici qu'il faille, en un temps record, multiplier par 3, le projet "The Moodygoer", développé par le collagiste KONEJO, pour le label Mahorka, lumineuse incarnation intergalactique d'un rhizomique underground sonore.
Juin 2022, sortie sur tous les écrans de "The Moodygoer", 19 plans séquences, à très haute densité, émulsions aussi intenses que puissent être la parfaite synchronicité ondoyante d'une ligne synthétique diablement claire, expressionniste, et les affres pelliculaires d'un 7ème art conjugué à notre vivante mémoire de celui-ci. Saisissant cut-up mélodique, The Moodygoer n'a que faire du possible et tragique destin des boites de bobines oubliées sur un rayonnage poussièreux. Sa fiction sonore est tout aussi réelle et présente, que le sont notre théâtre personnel et ses illusions cinématiques.
Décembre 2022, entrée en scène, et au générique, de MM. Cloudwarmer, Julien Demoulin, Cyrod, Grosso Gadgetto, Eue, Christophe Bailleau, Anatoly Grinberg, Philippe Neau, La Fausse Patte, Sagana Squale, A Limb, pour une "Part 1", et Julien Ash, Valgidrà, Tomoroh Hidari, Batard Tronique, Wolf City, Invisible Illusion, Otrno Slvani, Innocent But Guilty, Oizak, KHΛOMΛИ, Some Pretend To Whisper, Ysbryd et Konejo himself, pour une "Part.2".
Hardi et impressionnant casting international, une super production ...
The Moodygoer REMIXES n'ont pourtant, et bon gré cette affriolante affiche, les défauts attendus d'un blockbuster devenu poussif par amplification du procédé.
Talents conjugués, singularité des protagonistes, nous entrons dans une dimension très fidélement interprétative de l'ouvrage initial, finesse combinatoire de très (très) grande qualité, qui font de chaque participation, une nouvelle excroissance, un concentré émotionnel parfaitement autonome, mais attentif à la magie préservée de l'ensemble.
Bonheur, ou hasard de calendrier, ces 3 réalisations, regroupent à elles seules, de nombreux lauréats et illustrent, à la perfection, la qualité de cette année musicale 2022. Il nous fallait, au moins, cela - SpLENdid !

June 2022, release on all screens of "The Moodygoer", 19 very high density sequence shots, emulsions as intense as the perfect undulating synchronicity of a devilishly clear, expressionist synthetic line, and the pellicular pangs of a 7th art combined with our living memory of it. Striking melodic cut-up, The Moodygoer has nothing to do with the possible and tragic fate of boxes of reels forgotten on a dusty shelf. Its sound fiction is just as real and present as are our personal theater and its cinematic illusions.

The Moodygoer REMIXES do not have however, and willingly this alluring poster, the expected defects of a blockbuster become winded by amplification of the process.
Combined talents, singularity of the protagonists, we enter a very faithfully interpretative dimension of the initial work, combinatorial finesse of very (very) high quality, which make each participation, a new outgrowth, a perfectly autonomous emotional concentrate, but attentive to the preserved magic of the whole.
Happiness, or luck of the calendar, these 3 releases alone bring together many winners and illustrate, to perfection, the quality of this musical year 2022. We needed, at least, that - SpLENdid !
