Ce qui naquit souvent dans l'urgence absolue de premières ébauches d'un spectre numérique des années 2000 mute rarement en quelque chose d'aussi nécessaire. EXPOSURE FIELDS est cet objet : un second album qui ne s'est pas contenté de ruminer son ADN, mais qui l'a soumis à une déconstruction radicale, parfois à la limite ou à la faveur d'une saine torture.
Oublier l'EP initial ... Ici, nous sommes désormais en face d'une masse protéiforme, atmosphérique et fracturée. Une contamination consécutive - De longs développements ambient et des travaux de remixes, pour une électro mutante et l'intensité d'un collage sonore complexe. C'est granuleux, c'est massivement concassé et c'est parfois même brisé. Basta la tyrannie rythmique ! Au diable la ligne directrice, nous préférons cette myriade d'éclats déstructurés qui évoquent la rigueur clinique face à la brume hallucinatoire d'obscures séries TV des 70's.
Une contamination poussée jusqu'à l'osmose en présence d'une cohorte d'initiés – du génial Tokee ou Weldroid, Jet Jaguar, Nonima, Abdicant et tant d'autres convives, sans oublier une collaboration avec Mitoma (Sec-Run de The Interlunation) – Oui, il s'agit bien d'un dissolution intentionnelle.
Dissolved force le trait, repousse les limites de deux décennies pour mieux les faire perdurer sous des formes évolutives et sensiblement mystérieuses.
EXPOSURE FIELDS est un objet pour qui apprécie que l'innocence d'hier soit confrontée à une réalité devenue rugueuse et complexe. Une réalisation à contempler, non sans une certaine mélancolie.

What often arose from the absolute urgency of early sketches from a digital spectre of the 2000s rarely mutates into something so necessary. EXPOSURE FIELDS is that object: a second album that did not simply ruminate on its DNA, but subjected it to a radical deconstruction, sometimes bordering on or favouring a healthy torture.
Forget the initial EP... Here, we are now faced with a protean mass, simultaneously atmospheric and fractured. A consecutive contamination – long ambient developments and remix work, leading to a mutant electronic sound and the intensity of a complex sound collage. It's grainy, it's massively crushed, and sometimes it's even broken. Enough with rhythmic tyranny! To hell with the guiding line, we prefer this myriad of destructured fragments that evoke clinical rigour when confronted with the hallucinatory haze of obscure 70s TV series soundtracks.
A contamination pushed to the point of osmosis in the presence of a cohort of initiates – from the brilliant Tokee or Weldroid, Jet Jaguar, Nonima, Abdicant and so many other guests, without forgetting a collaboration with Mitoma (Sec-Run of The Interlunation) – Yes, it is indeed an intentional dissolution. Dissolved pushes the envelope, pushing the limits of two decades to better allow them to persist in evolving and sensitively mysterious forms.
EXPOSURE FIELDS is an item for those who appreciate that the innocence of yesterday is confronted with a reality that has become rugged and complex. A work to contemplate, not without a certain melancholy.
